HOLLERING
HEIDI (59827)
Wed

THEY CALL ME HOLLERING HEIDI BECAUSE I
SPEAK CLEARLY AND LOUDLY. Ahem... excuse
us. We were trying to introduce... I KNOW
WHAT YOU ARE DOING. i CAN SEE. YOURE
TALKING TO THEM. WHO ARE THEY? They are
customers. Heidi, would you please not shout so
loudly? I DONT KNOW HOW TO SHOUT
QUIETLY. DO YOU KNOW HOW TO SHOUT QUIETLY? IF YOU
DO PLEASE TELL ME. I think we know why your
brother, Brian, doesnt talk much. He
cant get a word in edgewise. Heidi is 15
inches tall and has movable arms and mouth!

PATTY
PIGTAILS (59828)
Patty
Pigtails has lovely long brunette hair which she
likes to wear in braids or pigtails. She also
likes to talk. She has an opinion about
everything... just ask her. She will tell
you that she is very beautiful and that she is 15
inches tall and that she is very easy to operate
with movable arms and... ahem... mouth!

GRANDPA
BLOVIATE (59826)
Grandpa
Bloviate will tell you that he doesnt
like to dwell upon what he was or what hes
done in the past. He says that now is
whats important. Dont worry. He is
just pretending to be modest. You see, Winston
Bloviate, in his 60 years before becoming a
Grandfather, was a railroad engineer, a race car
driver, an airline pilot, a gourmet chef, the CEO
of a large energy company, the captain of a
merchant ship and an advisor to His Majesty, the
King of Costalotta. With a career like that, you
better believe that this Grandpa has stories to
tell about all of his adventures and you
dont have to be one of his grandchildren to
get him started. Grandpa is 15 inches tall and
has movable arms and mouth.

WENDALL
WIZARD (59825)
Wendall
Wizard, seen here trying to balance his
cone-shaped hat on his cantaloup-shaped head, is
doing his best to promote the welfare of wizards
the world over. It seems that in this day
and age, not too many people still believe in
wizards or sorcerers. Science, they say, not
magic, is the way of the world today. Wendall is
a computer technician at Lackheed Missle Corp.
and aims to change all that. Ever since he
learned that his great grandfather (six times
removed on his mothers side of the family)
was a wizard, Wendall traded in his suit and tie
for the impressive costume you see him in.

FUZZY
BEAR (P19480)
Fuzzy
Wuzzy was a bear.
Fuzzy Wuzzy had no hair.
So... Fuzzy Wuzzy wasn't fuzzy, was he?
Fuzzy
Wuzzy was the term used by British colonial
soldiers for the nineteenth century Hadendoa
warriors supporting the Sudanese Mahdi. Fuzzy
Wuzzies are remembered today primarily for a
popular English children's rhyme, and for a poem
by Rudyard Kipling.
Our
Fuzzy Bear is a 15 in. tall Hand Puppet with
workable mouth and arms.

AL
T. TUDE GIRAFFE (M3909)
Al is
always the high scorer when he plays center for
the All-Africa Basketball Team. He stands head
and sholders above the rest with a powerful
"no-jump-dunk." This hand puppet is 11
inches tall.
|

|
GLIDE
DRAGON (M2547)
Glide
Dragons real name is Smolderchar but he
thinks Glide is more suitable. This is because he
never did learn how to blow fire out or his mouth
or nostrils. What he did learn in Dragonet School
was to fly. His wings may look short and stubby
but they are so powerful that he can launch into
the sky faster than a helicopter and glide more
smoothly than a 747.
Glide
is 23 inches long from snout to tail. Hand goes
in chest and up to work mouth.

ALPACA (2885)
Along with
camels and llamas, alpacas are classified as
camelids and they have been domesticated for
thousands of years. Alpacas and llamas can
successfully cross-breed. The resulting offspring
are called huarizo, which are valued for
their unique fleece and gentle dispositions. Our
Alpaca Hand Puppet is 15 inches tall. Click on
the piccture for a larger, more detailed image.

CAMEL (2870)
Camels have
lived in some of the most desolate corners of our
planet, and not only do they live, they thrive.
Most large animals are unable to survive in these
kinds of desolate places. This is because of
their large requirement for resources such as
food and water. Camels are able to use this to
their advantage as a survival strategy. By living
in deserts, mountains, and other arid places
Camels are able to avoid predators, and others
who would compete for resources. Camels are only
able to do this because of their amazing ability
to efficiently use the resources their
environments provide. A camel can travel long
distances which allow them to take advantage of
the maximum number of resources. They can
withstand a massive amount of dehydration which
allow them to survive not only between watering
holes, but sometimes between seasons. When at a
watering hole camels are able to gorge themselves
and rehydrate quickly. For food, camels are
omnivorous. They can eat almost anything be it
vegetation, meat, or bone,-- salty or sweet, a
camels stomach knows no limits. But it is their
temperament that is truly endeared the camel to
man. Docile and sweet under a caring hand, but
stubborn and angry if ill treated, the camel both
wins your heart and your respect. Our Camel Hand
Puppet here is 15 inches tall. Click on the image

|
COBRA (2871)
Cobra is the common name for
members of the family of venomous snakes,
Elapidae, known for their intimidating looks and
deadly bite. Cobras are recognized by the hoods
that they flare when angry or disturbed. These
reptiles are found throughout the Philippines,
southern Asia, and Africa. The king cobra is the
world's longest venomous snake (up to 24 feet in
length.) Contrary to folklore, cobras will seldom
attack unprovoked. Cobras are famous for their
use by snake charmers because they respond well
to visual cues, and are of spectacular
appearance. Our Cobra Hand Puppet is 15 inches
tall and a real charmer! Click on the image to
see a larger, more detailed picture... but don't
get too close.

|
COW (2873)
Cows are
referred to as the foster mothers of the human
race because they produce most of the milk that
people drink. The first cow in America arrived in
Jamestown colony in 1611. Until the 1850's,
nearly every family had its own cow. The first
regular shipment of milk by railroad was between
Orange County, New York, and New York City and
began in 1841. In 1856,
Gail Borden invented the condensed milk process.
This process removed some of the water from milk
so it would take up less space. Refrigeration
came into use in 1880, and the first pasteurizing
machine was introduced in 1895. Our Hand Puppet
Cow here is obviously amused by those facts. We
can only add that she is 14 inches tall, easy to
work but difficult to milk. Click on the image
for a larger, more detailed image.

|
ERSTWHILE CROCODILE (2559)
Ernie (short for Erstwhile) has
always been a history buff. In fact his name
"Erstwhile" means 'belonging to some
prior time.' And what a history he has to be
proud of. Crocodiles are the largest reptiles on
earth. The African or Nile crocodile is one of
the biggest growing up to 18 feet long. This is
huge, but compare it with one from the Cretaceous
period that grew to a gigantic fifty feet long.
Such behemoths went the way of the dinosaurs but
their smaller brethren live on. Our Crocodile
Hand Puppet is only 13 inches tall. Good thing
too.
|

|
DANGER DONKEY
(2908)
"Danger Donkey" was
his alias during his espionage years in the
Secret Service (he claims). When we tried to get
more information about this he said it was still
"classified." He is currently employed
by a Birthday Party company as a
'pin-the-tail-on-the-donkey' donkey but business,
he says, is not good. Our Donkey Hand Puppet is
18 inches tall. Click on the image for a larger
view.

|
DRAGON (2823)
The dragon is a mythical
creature which appears in almost every culture
worldwide. The physical description and supposed
abilities of the creature vary immensely
according to the different cultures in which it
appears. However, the unifying feature of almost
all interpretations is it being a serpentine or
otherwise reptilian monster (or at least
possessing a serpentine/reptilian part or trait),
and often possessing magical or spiritual
qualities. This friendly guy is 14 inches tall
and has movable arms, tongue and mouth.
|

|
STALWART EAGLE (2851)
A national symbol and an
endangered species, the bald eagle evokes pride
and nostalgia. This striking EAGLE Hand Puppet
features dark brown and white feather-like plush
and gold-colored vinyl beak. Broad, flappable
wings allow for soaring. He is 14 inches tall,
has a movable beak and wings with a 25 inch
wingspan.
|

|
ELEPHANT (2830)
This ELEPHANT Hand Puppet is
one handfull of fun. Made with unique fabrics it
has movable lets and a trunk that animates when
you pull the ring hidden inside.

|
FOX (2598)
This Hand Puppet is 16 inches
tall and has a working mouth and paws.
|

|
FLASH FROG
(2896)
Flash here earned his name in
the video game business. Yes, he was the frog who
dashed across the 8-lane highway avoiding heavy
speeding vehicles. He was fired after only two
days when he turned white with fear over being
squished... and the game company wanted a green
frog, not a white one. Unfortunately all of the
replacement frogs that the game company tried to
hire also turned white, some just upon having the
task explained to them. Ultimately, the game
company asked Flash to return to the job but he
declined explaining that he was "too
yellow" to try that again. Flash is 14
inches tall and has a movable mouth and legs.

|
GIRAFFE (2561)
Giraffes are one of the world's
tallest mammals. They are well known for their
long necks, long legs, and spotted patterns.
Giraffes have small "horns" or knobs on
top of their heads that grow to be about five
inches long. These knobs are used to protect the
head in fights. Male giraffes are larger than
females. Males weigh between 2,400 and 3,000
pounds and stand up to 19 feet tall! Female
giraffes weigh between 1,600 and 2,600 pounds and
grow to be 16 feet tall. Good thing that our
Giraffe Hand Puppet is only 14 inches tall.
|

|
HYACINTH HIPPOPOTAMUS (2852)
This Hand Puppet is a perfect
7-6-15 (that's 7 inches long, 6 inches wide and
15 inches tall.) Hyacinth has a movable mouth and
legs.
|

|
LEONARD LION
(2562)
The "King of Beasts"
is well represented by this up and coming new
actor from the Broadway play: The Lion King
(c). In fact, Leonard is so good at acting
that you won't believe that he is just a 13 inch
tall Hand Puppet. If he choses to do so, he may
convince you he's a 15 foot alligator... or maybe
a 5 inch parakeet! He's THAT good.
|

|
OSTRICH (2872)
The flightless ostrich is the
world's largest bird. They roam African savanna
and desert lands and get most of their water from
the plants they eat. Though they cannot fly,
ostriches are fleet, strong runners. They can
sprint up to 43 miles an hour and run over
distance at 31 miles an hour. Our Hand Puppet
Ostrich is 17 inches tall and a tad slower. Click
on the image to see a larger, more detailed
picture.

|
FENTON BACON (#2853)
AKA "Oink" to his
friends, Fenton is the smart brother of Hormel
and Dubuque Pigs and the beloved brother of Honey
G. Ham. We call him the "smart" one
because he built his house out of bricks making
it throughly wolf-proof. Unfortunately he built
it in California where local earthquakes force
him to re-stack his house every few years or so.
This smart-looking Pig Hand Puppet is surely no
boar! The mohair-like plush, vinyl details and
charming smile make him so endearing that you'll
want to "hog" him all to yourself! He
is 8 inches wide and 15 inches tall.
|

|
RABBIT (2800)
Yes, 'Rabbit.' But not just any
rabbit. His name, of course, is Jack (92% of all
rabbits are named 'Jack', 5% are named 'Peter',
1% are named 'Brer' and the remaining 2% are
named everything else or not at all.). If you
believe that, then you will be delighted to know
that this particular rabbit once pulled a
magician out of his hat (magician and hat not
included, sorry). One thing you should believe is
that this Hand Puppet Rabbit is 20 inches tall
and he does have a movable mouth!
|

|
RACCOON (2596)
The Raccoon (Procyon
lotor), also known as the Northern Raccoon,
Common Raccoon, Washer Bear or Coon,
is a widespread, medium-sized, omnivorous mammal
native to North America. Since the beginning of
the twentieth century, they have also been
widespread on the European mainland. Raccoons
usually live together in small, loose groups.
Their original habitats are mixed or deciduous
forests, but due to their adaptability, they are
often found in urban areas where they can be
considered pests. Our Hand Puppet Pest... er...
Raccoon is 15 inches tall and has a working mouth
and paws so don't leave anything just laying
around that you don't want to lose!
|

|
SEA SERPENT (2874)
Sightings of sea serpents have
been reported for hundreds of years, and continue
to be claimed today. Despite these numerous
sightings, no credible physical evidence has been
recorded and it is currently believed that the
sightings can be best explained as
misidentification of known animals such as
oarfish and whales. Of course this means that
your sighting of our 16 inch tall Sea Serpent
Hand Puppet here is just a figment of your
imagination. Click on the image to confirm that a
larger picture with more detail doesn't exist.

|
SHARPIE SHARK (2817)
Big trouble if you put your
hand in the wrong way. This clever hand puppet 17
inches tall and can consume just about anything
that will fit in it's mouth.

Spaniel puppet when he begs so wholeheartedly for
the treat you offer? Increase his appeal by

tricks you can make him do! This Hand Puppet is
14 inches tall.

|
TIGER (2869)
Tigers are the largest members
of the cat family and are renowned for their
power and strength. Bengal tigers live in India
and are sometimes called Indian tigers. They are
the most common tiger and number about half of
all wild tigers. Over many centuries they have
become an important part of Indian tradition and
lore. Tigers live alone and aggressively
scent-mark large territories to keep their rivals
away. They are powerful nocturnal hunters that
travel many miles to find buffalo, deer, wild
pigs, and other large mammals. Tigers use their
distinctive coats as camouflage (no two have
exactly the same stripes). They lie in wait and
creep close enough to attack their victims with a
quick spring and a fatal pounce. A hungry tiger
can eat as much as 60 pounds in one night, though
they usually eat less. Our Tiger Hand Puppet is
15 inches tall and doesn't eat anything. Click on
the image for a larger, more detailed picture.

Cast a spell with this
whimsical Witch hand puppet! Classic design
features black sueded-fabric dress and hat and
pale green skin - complete with warts! Animate
the arms and mouth of this witch and you'll
create a little black magic of your own! She is
22 inches tall (it's that hat, of course, which
she insists upon wearing) and has a movable mouth
and arms.
|

|
WOLF IN SHEEP'S CLOTHING (2859)
The Wolf here, complete with
sheepskin disguise and movable paws and mouth may
seem to illustrate the old warning about someone
who hides malicious intent under the guise of
kindliness. After all, both Aesop's Fables and
the Bible contain explicit references to wolves
in sheep's clothing. However, our Hand Puppet
Wolf here assures us that this is entirely untrue
and that he is merely trying to dress
appropriately for dining. He is 16 inches tall.

ZEBRA HAND PUPPET (2565)
The Zebra is a part of the
horse family (Equidae), native to central and
southern Africa. They are most well known for
their distinctive black and white stripes. Our
Zebra Hand Puppet is 13 inches tall.

|
MOTHER HUBBARD (10101)
This is old Mother Hubbard.
Shes run up a tab as thick as a deck of
cards in almost every shop in town. Her cupboard
may be bare, but she's sure her ship is about to
come in. You may have already met her precious
little dog, Toby. If you ask her, that dogs
so sweet he poops taffy, but I dont think
the neighbors concur. Certainly not the
Constable, but shes known him since he was
a little troublemaker himself, so she can usually
smooth over any misunderstandings. Rumor has it
Hubbards fallen in with some shady cats
downtown, but I wouldnt believe everything
you hear. She is 14 inches tall and has movable
arms. She is available here by herself or in a PUPPET
SET with five of her companions.

|
DOCTOR (10103)
The Doctor is one of those
people who always seem like theyre about to
sneeze. Never seen him do it though. He
doesnt get out much -- except, of course,
when the Czar is in town with his giggling gaggle
of available daughters. When hes not trying
to improve his social status, youll find
the Doctor locked up in his study. I have no idea
what hes up to in there and I dont
want to know. I suppose he spends most of his
time distilling that Miracle Elixir hes
always hawking to anyone with so much as a
hangnail. I tried it once. Good stuff. The Doctor
is 18 inches tall and has movable arms. He is
available here by himself or in a PUPPET
SET with five of his companions.
Click on picture for a larger,

|

|
CONSTABLE (10104)
The Constable keeps the peace
in town and he takes his duty very seriously. In
such a small town, hes the Judge, Jury and
Executioner. Hes got his eye on
everyone--the Cabby, the Doctor, that
pain-in-the-butt dog with the smirk. No one is
above suspicion. Especially when its his
job to protect sweet, innocent, adorable little
ladies like Mother Hubbard. Not that the
Constable would allow his heart to interfere with
his work. He might allow his stomach to, though.
One thing Ive learned about
justice in this town is that
theres no wrong that cant be made
right with a plump sausage or a freshly baked
pie. The Constable is 16 inches tall and has
movable arms. He is available here by himself or
in a PUPPET
SET with five of his companions.
Click on picture for a larger,

|
ALIEN CABBY (10105)
The Cabbys not from
around here, but he knows this town like the back
of his tentacle. Hell take you wherever you
need to go -- even to the moon if you've got the
fare -- just dont expect lively
conversation on the way. Hes a hard worker
wholl try anything to make an honest buck
-- from selling fish to installing satellite TV.
I guess no job is too small when youre
trying to make your way in a foreign town where
everybody talks nonsense, and when you dont
understand, they make even less sense, only
louder. As if the problem is his hearing. I mean,
I dont think he even has ears. The Cabby is
16 inches tall and has movable arms. He is
available here by himself or in a PUPPET
SET with five of his companions.

|
TOBY DOG (10102)
Hear that racket? No,
thats not a police raid on the music shop
(although its just a matter time.)
Thats Mother Hubbards dog, Toby.
Hes probably got his nose into trouble
again. Hes not a bad dog, per se. I mean,
hes never attacked anyone as far as I
know--except for the Doctor, but I might be
inclined to attack him myself on an off day. You
see, Tobys a bit of a jokester. He is the
little dog who laughed, after all, so hes
really going to rub you the wrong way if you have
no sense of humor. And apparently nobody in town
has a sense of humor. Toby is 8 inches tall and
has a movable mouth which is usually full of a
bone (included). He is available here by himself
or in a PUPPET
SET with five of his companions.

|
LUCY CAT (10106)
Uh oh. See that cat? The one
with the bum eye, playing the fiddle for pennies
by the bus stop? Thats Lucy. Better check
your wallet and hide your pet fish, cuz
shes bad news. Dont let that sad tune
fool you -- shes been giving the slip to
the Constable since she was lapping sour milk
from an old tambourine with the rest of her
unfortunate litter. Shes in with that
shifty band of alley cats who caterwaul behind
the music shop at all hours of the night. On
Thursdays they hold closed door Knitting
Club meetings. Thats what the sign
says anyway. Lucy is 11 inches tall and has
movable arms. He is available here by himself or
in a PUPPET
SET with five of his companions.
